Apex Capital Partners is a commercial finance firm in Naples, Florida. We arrange working capital for US businesses, and on some files we fund it ourselves. We were built by people who watched too many good businesses get told no by a bank algorithm, and then get buried in calls the moment they looked anywhere else.
Most of this industry
is a call center
wearing a finance costume.
A salesperson takes your information, ships your file to ten funders, and whoever responds first wins your deal. You get whatever terms that funder happened to be offering that day, and your phone rings for months afterward because the same file gets sold again and again. Owners call it Pandora's box. We think it is the single biggest reason good businesses never apply at all.
So we built the firm the other way around. One named underwriter reads your statements. Some files fund on our own capital. Others fit one of our funding partners better, and on those we act as your broker in the honest sense of the word: we read the file, match it to the one desk whose guidelines it fits, and send it there with your say-so. It never goes to twenty. Nobody else gets your number.
We started with one belief: a healthy small business should not need a perfect credit score or a corporate balance sheet to access capital. If revenue flows through your account every month, you have already proven the only thing that matters. Our job is to price the risk honestly, put every number in writing, and then leave you alone.

You are the plumber, not the debt salesman
A business has a broken system, cash flow, and we show up with the fix. We do not apologize for existing and we do not beg anyone to want hot water. Diagnose, quote in writing, solve.
The merchant carries the conversation
The person on the other end should be doing most of the talking. Every minute you talk you hand over the real problem, the real timeline and the real fear. We ask, then we listen.
Never quote before the statements
Not a rate, not an amount, not a term. “In writing, after statements” is the only honest answer, and it is the only one you will get from us.
Walk when it hurts the merchant
Heavy daily load, mounting NSFs, shrinking deposits: the honest answer is not more capital. Declining protects the business, the funder relationship and the renewal book. There will be another deal.
Commercial capital is ordinary
Businesses that grow only at the speed of their own savings get outrun by the ones that do not. The question was never whether to use outside capital. It is whether the numbers on this deal work for this business.
Build a book, not a hit
The renewal, the referral and the next deal go to whoever the merchant remembers. A firm that only calls when it wants something stops getting answered.
